Written for someone I really care about...

I’m lost in her eyes

And I’m so happy

I could never ask for me

 

Words can’t begin to describe how I feel

When I look into her eyes

Everything is just right

And there is no care in the world

 

I could lay for hours

By her side

And just hold her close in my arms

Listen to her gentle breathing

And let it pull me off to sleep

 

For once

I get to be happy

I’m not the one making

Those painful sacrifices

I get to go on

With a smile on my face
