This is an amusing Cinquain style poem. I wonder how he answered her 'Pardon?'

Not familiar with this poetic style & I find it helpful to get a few basic parameters in the author's notes, if you don't mind (we can all teach each other this way) . . . but I will look it up. I like the way you present the unthinkable in such a matter of fact way -- good imagination! Also, that last inquiry is a succinct reply (so unlike what we would expect -- being unexpected is a good thing in writing!)
