the soft face of a lover scrapes if not taken care eyes so piercing bleed when one is unaware heart so strong now so weak when you last placed your lips on my cheek

I bet you are not as old as me ..lol ..................... Your pic looks very young :)
Amazing use of words. You create thoughts and sadness using so few words. We do miss the simple things when love goes away. A warm embrace and soft kiss become a valuable part of life needed and missed. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
