Promise Me.

Promise Me.

A Poem by NamelessBeast.
"

Promise Me; Liars.

"
The liars make their promises and break their word,
Shrouded in secrecy so they're sure nobody heard,
And they're both sure that no living being saw,
The bearing of their souls that left them raw,
A very intimate display of love and trust,
Oh dear, their promises just bit the dust,
The lies that have been told were suddenly exposed,
And the fabric of their 'love' decomposed,
The softest wind could have blown it all away,
And neither guilty side could bare to stay,
They shook hands and escaped with their memories,
Which they beg to be taken, no one hears these pleas.
But promise me, next time, you'll be faithful and true,
Promise me this and I'll see what I can do.

I liked the flow and the rhyme scheme and how it seems to have come straight from your heart. One thing, though, I think the word "bare" should be "bear." Bare as a verb means to unconceal or reveal. Bear as a verb means to endure or tolerate. Just a suggestion. Thank you.
