Ode To Dean.

Ode To Dean.

A Poem by NamelessBeast.
"

Ode To Dean; Brother In Blood; A close friend of mine that died.

"

I miss everything about you Dean.

Your stupid laugh and your spiky hair,

I miss the way you'd look at me once,

And know I had something to share.

I miss the way you'd make me laugh,

When I was in the mist of tears.

I miss the way that a few hours with you,

Would wipe away my fears.

I miss the way that when you hugged me,

I felt completely safe and at peace.

I miss the way you'd clear your throat,

And all noise would cease.

I miss the way you'd scream and shout,

If I ever beat you at a game.

I miss the fire in your eyes when you,

Asked to play me again.

And I miss the way that your eyes,

Would see everything wrong with me,

All the things I've done yet they would

Brush past them all and you would love me,

For everything I was. Whether that be a

A stupid child or a useless broken wreck,

Or an annoyance to you, a little kid,

A little bugger or a pain in the neck.

I still miss you every second I'm awake.

In my dreams you stand beside me,

And we watch the dream happen,

Watch the world go by silently.

You taught me about self confidence,

About fear and hope and love.

You showed me how the world could have been

If we you had been my brother in blood.

I'm so sorry you lost your friend, but this is such a beautiful way to commemorate him. You captured those moments in life that are so simple, yet stick with us in our memories when we reflect on those who impacted our life. I feel your raw emotion seeping through every line and it is really moving. You have reminded me to appreciate what I have and who I have. Your friend would be proud of this poem and your wonderful writing skills.
