Flimsy Arrows.

Flimsy Arrows.

A Poem by NamelessBeast.
"

Flimsy Arrows.

"

Your lips brushed my ear,

All those sweet nothings,

Tore apart my every fear,

But now I'm left alone,

And I'm badly bleeding,

I'll never find a home.

I'm a useless f*****g brat,

Not a surprise there

Even you knew that.

So here, on my bed, I lie,

Cold, dying and broken,

Willing, so ready, to die,

You left me a broken child,

A girl who can't remember,

The last time she smiled,

Because she blocked you out,

And every shred of crap,

That you did bloody spout,

A little heart broken girl,

Who was stuck in a shell,

Who was about to unfurl,

Show herself to the world,

But you went and broke her,

So into a ball she curled,

Surrounded my shadows,

Of a broken, cold, dead love,

Broken hearts, flimsy arrows.

This girl is crying,

Watch her tears fall,

Hear her sobs dying.

Know it's your fault.

I like the honest and direct words of this poem. A broken child will hold the pain forever. Strong description made this story have life. I like the ending to the excellent poem.
