V "Point of No Return"

V "Point of No Return"

A Chapter by Namaa Hammond

O'er the ramparts drifting beneath the stone skies

Now he is part of the the wind

Coldest debris swallows him like a fly

The frog croaked and the widow sinned

Manipulated breeze carries him down to the hollows of the pond

The trench howled, "make a bond"

Gasping for air below leveled ground

The widow has now lost his way as he drowned

Bear witness written all my over hands

Washed away every scripture

Sleeplessness forbidden, spoke the dark glance

The widow caught by a fisher

A spider with one thousand legs

And the willow it weeps

My demons tied me like a thread

Through woven wool of black sheep

Every dusk I ask the dark master

To repay for his disasters

His claws rip my eyelids, I felt a tremor

My sight and soul have become even blacker

Now I've found myself in a ditch, spinning

I heard the dark has no rest

Catch me with your strangling wing and

Throw me to your cobwebbed nest

All alone he is hanging on a thread

It feels better in the dark

Sharing pillows with my own death bed

I can see better in the dark

His deadly tail is now wrapped around my neck

Fall to the railroad of abyss

It shred onto flashes of a train wreck

The feathers gathered 'round the nest

Ashes left over proclaimed cremation

Burned to a ring of fire

Point of no return, as my recreation

I wasn't born a flyer
