A Chapter by Namaa Hammond
"

"The Heart of The Beggar's Tomb"

"
Across the vines in a bottomless night
A distant dome, ways from home
Lied fences of iron, and inner light
The beggar was drenched from the sand and storm

Terrains of acid burned the grounds to ashes
Trees drowned with the reaper and hound
A wind surpasses in the thunder's flashes
Calling the beggar to his mound

For endless hours he hid 'neath the bower
A wakeless room, awaiting his doom
The hand of the hour choked the clock tower
Hacking fumes to the heart of the tomb

The crevasses had yet to hit the crowned abyss
His frozen teeth hadn't let him speak
The beggar's paralysis was quite blasphemous
His gasping screams were self redeemed

The reaper and the hound hoisted the mound
Finding no remains, but his cane
Breaking the sound until the beggar was found
The heart and brain of the tomb reigns

The poem told of a hard journey and I like the way you ended the poem. I like the way you used the beggar. Allowing the reader to feel the thoughts and emotion. I like the description in this chapter. Create a place of misery and hard life. Thank you for sharing the excellent chapter.
