A Poem by Jean Calvin

I had been packing away
All my things of this life
In preparation to move into another.
And like the most precious things-I stumbled across it
Accidentally,
Tucked in tightly in a pile of undocumented documents.

It was a photograph of her,
The one I can never get out of my head,
Though, This photo is new,
But it's familiar to me.
The face that I always thought was foreign
Was always you.
