High School HaikusA Poem by KiwiJust a look around at what was going on in haiku-format.I don't normally write haikus. Sometimes I like writing stories using them just for fun. This was just one of those random high school moments that I wanted to get down in that format.

The teacher screaming Over the ears of students Who can hear nothing. The girl is growling Over technology lost, And loses her drink. “I leave in minutes,” The teacher mentions quickly As she storms the room. I am innocent, Sitting before this light screen, Hearing all stirrings. A test approaches On a day quite far away, But always too close. Disappointing her, The teacher of the classroom, Would not do me well. How is it to go If I don’t understand this Material now? Will I understand, As this Friday approaches, How to make this work? Things are calmer now But a storm is in my head, Whirling me around. Graduation draws Closer each and every day With high school too slow.
