VIRUS

VIRUS

A Poem by Nakul J Menon
"

What seems impossible has now been achieved by a small virus. Everything changed all of a sudden in a matter of days. Hope man learns to co-exist for the civilization to continue.

"
VIRUS
The days moved slow,
The world so silent,
The numbers began to grow,
Where the rules began to bend.

The life we dear,
The life we dream,
Hours are passed with fear,
Endlessly it seems.
And to the walls we are glued.
But time goes on,
As our days filled with solitude.
Don’t come here ,
Don’t go there,
There are restrictions everywhere.
But Lo! The truth
The pain is for us to bear.

It rules our land
Teaching us a lesson that,
The world is not truly ours,
If we don’t learn to co-exist.
