Mirror Mirror

Mirror Mirror

A Poem by Nakagawa
"

For when you have broken a heart and can no longer even look at yourself in the mirror and vice versa.

"

Mirror Mirror

Do you see your reflection staring at you

Through the cracks of the mirror

You broke through

I see it lying shattered underneath me

Staring at the defeat that became me

I’m sorry you have to see me like this

Cut down, crawling defenseless.

Always stalling for the answer

Its killing me like a Patient’s cancer

It was taken from me

The memory that I had once dreamed

The image that I now have lost

Is creating a war of endless chaos

Please just let it end, no questions

In your last plea of defense

I'll bleed picking up the pieces

And you’ll leave without

Remembering any of this.
