Teenage TimesA Poem by Najam Us SaherJourney of every teenagerTEENAGE TIMES Those were the timesWhen wrong seemed right Crossing limits on different heights Where seriousness was kept aside My teenage memories- I recite.Fake smiles were easily misunderstood Living under the belief that I am no good Rush of emotions, changing moods Living a little better then, wish I could.Always lived under stress Believed that I am a mess Piled up emotions made me distressed Bearing the agony inside, Spent days being depressed.Too much negativity never became right Every day was the same, happiness out of sight I lost my confidence on different heights Every day I struggled to win my fight.Hoped someday life would be better soon Sleepless I stayed observing shifts in the moon 'I accept the way I am and I am happy' I presumed Even though I tried to be happy, sadness resumed.Seeked something that kept me alive Disastrous it was to be so naive In my loneliness deeply I dived For a bit of happiness, I was deprived. © 2023 Najam Us SaherReviews
