If anything is true about your work, Najam, it's that your poetry is always heartfelt, sincere, and written in such a way which anyone can read, relate, and find emotional relief - this piece is no exception. Along with the spot-on rhymes throughout, this piece is admirable in its message, maturity, and emotional depth. I enjoyed the repetition of "sometimes" throughout in how it moved the piece forward, thus enhancing your theme.
The feel of this piece reminded me of the first stanza of "My Bouquet" by Floria Kelderhouse:
Some days I sing, some days I cry.
My soul's the one determines why.
Sometimes it laughs, sometimes it scorns.
On my bouquet, are many thorns.
