That day

That day

A Poem by Najam Us Saher
"

I was sitting with my mother and she said me these exact words.

"
THAT DAY
"What is the use to yearn for a thing which we cannot attain?" she said,
I was downhearted and speechless,
You cannot have me back mother, but don't you miss me was my heart whispering.

Author's Note

Najam Us Saher
Please don't mention that it needs to be a bit longer because I tried to capture a moment of my life which is so close to my heart.

A line or a page but if you described them artistically both works...mostly i prefer short.....by the way it was beautiful sound of aching heart.....to relieve you there is a real conversation stored here by Anindita janhabee named shining conversations, you can read them....

sometimes love hurts
It's perfect length, it does not need to be any longer as it says what is meant to be said. it's great. Love it
