People are foolish when they compare a person with others.

COMPLAINTS AND COMPARISON

How pleasing is the moon,

While the sun burns heavily.

How beautiful are the flowers,

Oh! But the thorns prick me.

Look at the stars,

I wish they were found near the seas,

He seems to be an independent person,

But my conscience tells me he is vagrant.

Rose is pleasing to look at,

I wish it never lose its fragrance.

I want to bring the stars for you,

But damn, they are far.

Oh! People, stop complaining and judging,

Learn to accept things as they are.

"Look at her, she is good at everything and look at yourself"

People tell you this, but don't you bother,

Understand that people are foolish when they compare you with others.

People compare you with others, judge you but don't let that spoil your creativity and joy. You are unique one of your kind. However you are you are amazing. Comparing and degrading others will not make them any glorious.

It is one of the best writings which is much inspiring for every reader. This poem is important and has its own significance form many perspectives.
First, You have chosen a nice theme on the nature and character of people that has been an issue of discussion and study across time and space. Such character of people has been discussed in the religious text of all religions particularly in the Prophetic traditions of Islam as well as non-religious texts such as philosophical and ethical texts across time and space.
Second, It gives an inspiring lesson to every reader to be conscious toward such nature of people living in our society.

Third, Though, we should not compare with other people with ourselves because every one was born having his/her own specific ability and qualities that is not found in others. But we should be jealous and irritated when the people did such activities, rather we should desired to have good qualities of other people and think positively and take a good lesson from others.

I agree with what you have worded in this lovely poem and love the last lines:
""Look at her, she is good at everything and look at yourself"
People tell you this, but don't you bother,
Understand that people are foolish when they compare you with others."
We should think always positive and try to abstain from such people.

I think the final touch from the picture brought it all together beautifully. "Comparison is the death of peace" is without a doubt one of the fundamental truths of the human mind. Definitely enjoyed this one, thanks for the read!

The line-"he seem an independent person" does not sound correct. I think you should make it-"he seems to be an independent person"
