Rainy night

RAINY NIGHT

This rainy night makes me cold,

It makes me feel numb and weak.

My smile is gone and sadness beholds,

Only some happiness is what I seek.

My world has drifted apart from me,

And I am trapped in my own isolation.

Their actions have made me this person;

I forgot whom I used to be,

I have no joy and they tell,

I am the cause for my own destruction.

Sometimes these rain washes away the sadness and gifts smile as the sun shines brightly at the morning. This agony will also wash away maybe waiting for that rain!

A very true and thoughtful piece. It is human nature that when something wrong happens in the life, we blame others for it. in reality every one is responsible for his/her actions. You have worded such notion in this poem as the last line of the poem, "I am the cause for my own destruction". This poem also can be considered as an advisory poem. I love it. nice job.
