No TitleA Poem by BrianaWSomething along the lines of coming-of-age.It is true I am young and ignorant Immature and reckless But perhaps my most disgraceful quality is my sheer indifference It is with this lack of passion that every human disposition must have What good is the life of an unsympathetic man? What meaning is there to a life without a purpose for one’s self? What a meaningless and boring existence I must bear alone. You poor, stupid child. You thought you could be something in life and still happy? You thought this would be simple? You thought this would be easy? You thought, that if you worked hard enough you would get everything you wanted? God loves to see you struggle, you know. What? Don’t believe in God? No matter, you’ll suffer all the same. Throw away all your money to others who’ll listen to your problems but not help Swallow every pill they’ll addict you to I’m not going away This isn’t going away And when you’re tired, and weary, and have had enough I’ll still make you end it yourself For what good is the funeral with a blank eulogy? © 2017 BrianaWAuthor's Note
