Apart

This is just something I have been writing for a while, adding a line or two here and there.

Two hearts,

So far away,

Both longing,

For something real.

 

Could it be?

Is it he?

The one who can change it all?

Who will catch me if I fall?

 

A poet I am not

Just showing from my heart,

What I've got,

to think of when apart.

 

I'll let my pen flow,

and wait for the time,

when I can lay back,

and take it slow.

I like this poem. Technical advice would be to have a consistent rhyme scheme. You seem to rhyme randomly, which can throw off the flow. But thats just technical. In poetry that doesn't really matter. I especially like your last stanza. Good work.
