Aggrevate

Aggrevate

A Story by Nikki

I step out onto the street,
my pocket watch in hand.
Gold and shimmering,
4 'o clock.
A gaggle of women chuckle by,
I tilt my hat.
I glance up at the building above.
A tall building with creamy brick.
I see your face in the pane above.
Eyes to ground. Eyes to ground.
Face up, I head for the door.
Click click my shoes on the floor.
I have arrived,
now what is my fate?

What.. is.. my.. fate.

Not going to lie... A gaggle of women ... Probably my favorite word pairing of all time and the ending was strong. I felt it in my bones.

Even though it is told in first person, you can feel yourself right there with the character. Amazing.

So very subtle but so powerful at the same time. You can live and breathe it.

I can see this seen and hear the quiet possibly rainy night. It is a beautiful and classic picture. It has that maleness about it that a woman feels so drawn to. The man is surely handsome, dapper, dashing, etc. Clearly that
