I wrote this inspired by a dear friend going through a divorce and losing most of his friends.

Dear friend,

I know you're going through troubled times

I know your heart is aching as time passes by

All sorts of questions running through your beautiful mind

Dear friend,

I hear your words beating from your heart

Those words tearing your eyes

Those words choking your tongue

Dear friend,

The pain is temporarily. but you are forever

Those tears, I'll wipe them away everytime

And with time, your beautiful heart will heal

Dear friend, 

You are more than you think

Your laugh is what amazes me

Your smile is what takes me

Dear friend, 

Remember my words,

I love you.

I miss you.

I appreciate you.
