The One

Who is the one for you in your life?

 

How do you know you have found the one?

Is it the way they look at you, with eyes that see into your soul?

Or is it the way they speak to you, hanging on every word, as though they are your last?

Can they be the one, when every touch is as gentle as the first?

Or is it the fact that no matter what happens,

they are always there for you.

Whether it is in person, or on the phone.

Any time of day, or night.

That they bring you hope that life has a purpose.

And that together you can overcome all obstacles.

They can hold you all through the night,

and keep you safe from any demons that come your way.

No matter how crazy you get,

you always make sense to them.

They understand you, for who you are inside and out.

They love being around you, as much as you love being around them.

No matter what life brings at you.

There is the One for us all.

I am just starting to really get into writing again. So with that being said, hope you like all that I can write, cause it may not mean much to you, but to me, its the world.
