Rise after the Fall

Rise after the Fall

A Poem by Rama
"

Thoughts six months after the loss of Beloved Wife

"

Rise after the fall

Deep in my heart

And always in my thought

Does my Beloved reside

To be always by my side.

Why did He take her away?

So soon to leave me in disarray!

Never will He answer to me

And I realise that so it be!

Now I rise up with a will

To stand up steady and still

To show Him I can cross over the wall

With the faith she would never let me fall!

It’s not that the lines are drawn,

As He only controls the dusk and dawn,

Yet from her thoughts the strength I draw,

Surely will I stand till the last straw!!

Dear Rama I am sorry for the loss of your beloved wife. You express your loss well in your lines. I get the impression you are questioning your faith, but while doing that I feel that you gain much strength from the memories of your beloved. A lovely composition. May your wife RIP.

Chris
