Crimson

Crimson

A Poem by NaCl

A crimson petal

Cups the morning dew

Tender as a mother

As lovingly to

A single crimson drop

From the wrist of a girl

Pale as snow

Crimson cheeks

Burn and tighten

Teeth clench

Fists tense

Crimson has so many places

It can travel to

But my favorite place

Is on the cheeks of you
