Buried Beneath

Buried Beneath

A Poem by Na'Chelle

Buried beneath my hollow cave I consider my options

I could jump,

From here to there

But it would be too quick and the landing maybe gruesome

I could tie myself up,

But if I begin to suffocate and struggle against my will

I just might…

Or

I could have someone do it for me,

A man who knows what he’s doing

Or maybe a woman!

Buried beneath my warm cave I have considered my options

I don’t need to jump

I won’t tie my self up, I might suffocate

I will not have someone do it for me

Buried beneath my cave,

I have decided,

I don’t need a man,

Buried beneath my cave

I am equating love with suicide. And as far as the cave, use your imagination.
