A Poem by Natasha

Whisper sweet nothings?
No. Sweet everythings.

Promises I’ll complete
Words made of ash
Lies and slander
Cigarette wishes

Time of silence
Time for sleep
Sleep too easy
To awake: the guarantee

I’ve passed the amiable
Welded the silver slips
Melting pockets of you
Quaking if only once

Making this simple
Here you go, bud
Now you’ll understand

Infuriate the complex
Heretic, madly so
Fanaticize anew

It is possible to live yesterday?
Only for rabbits and hats.

Such a strange and brilliant poem! It reminds me of a surrealist painting! I'm actually going to read more of your poems as this one has inspired more a whole lot!

Great piece!
