Cage

Cage

A Poem by AG{ae-gshee-)
"

Poor little bird, blue bird, full of rage.

"
Little bird, blue bird stuck in a cage,
little bird, blue bird; why do you have so much rage?
Locked up tight and you can't get out,
he threw away the key
and now;
you're stuck without a doubt.
Shriek and cry,
scratch at that cage,
he will never let you out of your silly, silly, old rage.
So why scream and cry
that little bird, Blue bird, full of rage.
He will leave you there
broken and bended
your heart on a thread
of hope and abandon.
So why even worry?
Why ever doubt?
You know what's coming,
so you stay there and shout.
Later he'll come
bruised, broken, and numb.
Looking for that little bird, blue bird, to pick up his lonesome.
Where is that little bird, blue bird stuck in a cage?
that little bird, blue bird is gone;
and now free of rage.
