There she was, the girl with black hair, light blue or green eyes, they changed with the way the light had hit them. She was only six inches taller than me. Her smile was what set me into a panic, unsure what to say. I was the new girl, short messy brown hair, barely showered or changed clothes. I would go a month wearing the same thing. My eyebrows looked like males, my eyes brown yet told a story, if someone looked me in the eyes I would cry. My life was hell, depression, anxiety, multiple personalities, anger issues and at times, I needed to orignize everything, if anything was out of place I had to fix it.

This girl however, depression, yet positive, joyful. She made me feel like I had won the lottery everytime she looked at me. Her name is Jaf, short for Janifa, Wilench. She was a year older but was in school a year late. However that didn't stop her, for two classes she was nearly two grades up, graphics and 3D things, both topics went over my head.

My first day of school was strange, I was called 'That Homeless Kid' multiple times, just due to what I wore, and possibly my smell. I recieved multiple death stares and one guy even threatened me. But I couldn't help it. Jaf was too cute, her lips were perfect, enough to kiss, her voice when she spoke, my brain would go numb. To her, I was that 'Kid who can't even speak'. But she had spoken to me a few times.

We found out that we both knew sign language, however, Jaf had learnt American and I had learnt Austrailian. My first class was English, which I wasn't too bad at, Jaf had even shown me the way, dispite me being quite jumpy. Next was P.E, she wasn't in this class due to graphics, but had told me if anything, to stay close to the taller people, try be in their team since they wouldn't like a shorty ruining their game.

At lunch I sat outside, next to a group playing basketball. It was pieceful, my mind could rest and my clothes could breath. I glance around, gulping as a few boys saw me and started to come over. I was terrified.
