As she looked out her bedroom window, she wished her family was just like everyone elses, either happy normal Humans or happy normal Limbars (magical people), but NO! That could never happen. (Why?) Two reasons. One, her family was barely human. And two, her family werent normal. 12 year old Jackie often thought of what the normal life would be like, she also often wondered, if her family were normal Humans, if another family would step in and use their powers for good. Jackie was her nickname because her full name was Jacklyn but she shortened it to Jackie so then more people would remember it. As Jackie grew up she gained more and more powers, her first power was to freeze time and everything and everyone in the world, even if they had powers. Every first power develops in a child when they’re 3 months old, then it takes 4 years to control.

 Alex and Jane are Jackies’ older sisters. Alexs’ first power was to levertate things or herself or even other people either around or to her. As for Jane, she could control other peoples; feelings, minds or actions. Alex is 15 and Jane is 26, Jane still lives with her parents because she likes to boss Jackie around. Suddenly Jackie felt her self levertating to Alex’s room so she knew Alex wanted her.

“Put me down and I’ll come to you!” Jackie hadn’t mean to say anything.

“Why should I believe you!? You said that last time and I had to come and drag you over here!” Alex replied so Jackie shut up and enjoyed flying into Alex’s room.

“Yeah?” Jackie asked cheekly.

“SHUT UP AND LISTEN!” Alex snapped. “Mums pergnant! You had better keep your mouth shut! You know Jane won’t want to hear s**t from you! NOW GET!”

Jackie nodded scaredly and Alex made her fly out of her room but Jane was walking past so Jackie hit into her.

“ALEX WATCH IT!” Jane almost screamed and Jackie tried to run off scaredly. “AND WHERE DO YOU THINK YOUR GOING!?” Jane yelled after Jackie, who ran back to Jane and whispered in her ear what Alex had just told her. “HOW DARE YOU ALEX! LYING TO A F*****G 12 YEAR OLD LIKE THAT! YOU BETTER WATCH IT THAT MUM DON’T FIND OUT WE KNOW!”

“Don’t worry sis, if she knows whats best for her, she will keep quiet! WON’T YOU!?” Alex said harshly and Jackie nodded.

 

After about an hour of running around for her sisters Jackie wanted to go back to her most favorite place in the world, her window.

“M-May I go back to the window now?” Jackie asked, really scaredly I may add.

“Not until you give us you chore money you rat!” ordered Jane and Alex in unison.

“B-B-But! Please! I did all my chores to get this, plus I did all your chores!” Protested Jackie.

“So what?! You want a medal!?” Alex said.

“No I just want respect!” argued Jackie.

“WHAT WAS THAT!” Shouted Alex and Jane.

“N-N-Nothing!” Stuttered Jackie and she handed over her chore money then when back to her window and cried.

“That was easy!” Laughed Jane. “Little baby’s crying, AGAIN!”

“HA! Yeah, thought she would!” Agreed Alex.

After an hour of non-stop crying, Jackie went and hugged her mum, but didn’t tell her what Jane and Alex did to her. Jackie was to young to understand her mums powers, but she could understand her dads because she had learnt about them since she was learning about hers. (Why?) Because they were basically the same. Jackie hated her sisters because they were cruel unless their mum or dad was around. Also because Jackie was the youngest. What they didn’t know was that their mum could be anywhere she wanted without anyone else knowing, not even her sent would be there. Jackie understood a little of this but not to much. Also since Jackie was the youngest she wanted to be her parents little girl forever, even though she knew she wouldn’t be able to.

In the town, there were Humans. But in the forest there were things Humans could never imagine. Like rabbits, hopping on their heads, because it was a game the Limbar children liked to play. Humans didnt understand why Limbar children can go to Human and Limbar schools but Human children are only aloud to go to Human schools. Humans thought it was unfair, unless they were the mayor, both Limbars and Humans had mayors for their towns, and every year they would have a meeting and dicuss the situation about the schools, and they would always agree: NO HUMAN CHILDREN ALOUD IN LIMBAR SCHOOLS! BECAUSE ITS TO DANGEROUS!

Humans and Limbars always use to have wars/fights/disagreements but after a while the Humans got tired and started making their own towns.

Limbars and Humans each have a different sent, every Limbar can smell the sents, some are similar because that Human or Limbar is related in some way, its like Limbars first powers, in some way they are they same.

Jackie loved her parents because they let her do what ever she wanted, but if her parents wanted her home, she had to be home, even if her sisters didn’t have to be. Jackie listened to her parents and sisters because she felt like she was more responsible than both Jane and Alex. Thankfully thet didn’t know that. Even though Jane and Alex were older they didn’t understand why Humans hated Limbars, Jackie did though, because she payed attention in classes and she went on lots of trips to the museum. Jackie went to both Limbar and Human schools. The Human school she went to was during the day then she went home, did her chores and practiced her magic.

At both Human and Limbar schools, students could pick what classes they went to, how long they wanted to be in that class for and all they had to do was learn what that lesson was on, in 30 minutes, if they wanted to leave when they wanted to, otherwise they had to stay at school for the whole day, or for Limbars, the whole night, if students were sick they didn’t have to go to school until they felt better, for some students that was all winter. Jackie had no friends but she was strong and barely got bullied, sometimes Humans or Limbars would talk to her, but usually she was on her own because she went to both schools for 3hours because she had chores then homework then she had to pratice her magic.

Jackie looked up then asked her mum if she was pregnant.

“Umm… well…”Started her mum, a little starled at what Jackie had just asked.

“Are you mummy?” Jackie asked, a little worried this time, and her mum said nothing just picked Jackie up and cuddled her then slowly nodded a little. “Thats awesome! Please let me name it? Please mum! I mean Jane got to name Alex, and Alex named me.” Pleaded Jackie, and her mum sighed the said O.K the told Jackie to go practice her magic, but this time not on her sisters, or her pet. Jackie looked confused for a few seconds then looked at her dad and back at her mum to see if she was ment to fight him. Jackies’ mum laughed a little then nodded again and put Jackie down to go fight her dad using her powers. Jackie would’ve won, if Jane and Alex didn’t jump in and hurt Jackie. Thankfully their dad sent Jane and Alex to bed with no dinner and supper, then went back to fighting Jackie after he healed her. After supper, Jackie went to her Libar school, and they had to do tests Jackie waz the only one who passed, because she cheated. (Wait! Thats not right!) She was the only one who passed because shes the only one who cares about her powers and controlling them. (Thats better) And she has two older sisters who fight her a lot, and her family barely let her win. As for everyone elses family, they go easy and nice on them. Jackie didn’t understand why there were only 7 Limbars who went to both Human and Limbar schools, maybe their familys were rich? Or maybe they wanted a back up plain if their Limbar child fails with their powers.

Even thought Jackie was only 12 in Human years, she was 10 in Limbar years. Limbars stopped counting their childs age after 10 because they didnt want their child going threw pubity before anyone elses then they went back to counting when their child was 20. But Jackie still had a lot of pressure on her, Human and Limbar self, Jackie wanted to be an entertainer with her powers and if that failed she wanted to be a waitress in a fansty restrant. Jackie also understood more about life than her sisters did, she knew if they had a crush, who they had a crush on, why they had a crush. She could read anyone like a book, even if her and her sisters were fighting, she knew what move they would make, but of cause she never let them know that. She also knew a little about her mums powers, but not to much because her mum didnt like to talk about them to much. Maybe because Jackies mum didnt want Jane and Alex to know that she could be anywhere at anytime, with out her sent and everything else.
