In Remembrance....

This is a poem written on 9/11/09.... In remembrance of the 9/11/01 attacks on our country and its people.

On this particular 9/11
The rain falls down
Like tears from Heaven.

Loved ones looking
Down from above,
Watching over those they love.

"As hard as the first"
Describes each passing year.
Eight years later I can't fight my tears.

I'll never forget
When those towers fell.
When all of those people were going through Hell.

Please tell your loved ones
What they mean to you...
And to your heart forever be true.

Let no day pass
When you feel regret.
And PLEASE I beg you to NEVER FORGET.
