Staring At The Bottom

Staring At The Bottom

A Poem by N. T. End.
"

My rendition of Let Her Go by Passanger

"

Staring at the bottom

of your drinking glass,

hoping that maybe the dreams

will last

But dreams come slow,

and they go fast

And then the reality only

deepens the gash.

You only need light when

it is burning low

Only missing the sun when

it starts to snow

Wishing you could forget

your past,

because you only know

love when it doesn't

last.
