Happy PoemA Poem by N.SevillaI poem I wrote for happy poems about how I cannot write a happy poem
Oh Poem, you.
I admire your vigilance and strength To escape from my clutches And my fiery pen. Oh Happy Poem, The myth I have read about But not once have I seen it In my own hands. Love poems, Dark poems, Dead poems, All desperate romantics to be made. But Happy Poem, you, Satisfied within your own joy And leaving none for my poor soul? Happy Poem, be kind, And let yourself be born Through my pen, And see that, I too, Am worthy of your bounty.
