This Hate Won't Last ForeverA Poem by N.SevillaIt's upsetting to hear people say that things won't get better. That people won't stop hating.
They say "Never, never, never.
They'll never accept us. No matter how much time will pass They'll always make a fuss." Poor children, believers of Never, Weighed down by such a word. Heavier than hateful stares And every insult they've heard. With Never there's no hope. With Never there's no dreams. Never batters down every Poor child's self-esteem. These children are old and young But bound by the same fate. To face the trails for their love: A merciless, fiery, hate. A different sort of love, But love nonetheless. The feeling of holding a lover's face In a gentle caress. Who can love properly Within this hate and fear? What if there is no one who dares support Anywhere close to here? Those poor children believe Things will never change. Never. But children dear, believe me, The hate won't last forever.
