More than a love poemA Poem by N.SevillaQuick words that happen to be on my mindI don't want to be another love poem. A couple lines on a used napkin. I don't want to be another "I love you". Breath seen quickly and disappearing into the winter air. I don't want to be a memory. Time erodes it slowly into nothing. I don't want to be a feeling Quickly replaced by others. Treat me as a rock. Eternal and ever-changing. Withstanding all, Yet with a breaking point. One that could crumble into pebbles, Still never really gone. Could be washed away Onto another shore. © 2011 N.Sevilla |
