If my words could flow like yoursA Poem by N.Sevilla
At pleasure's wake
I stand behind The cold metal bars Within my mind. Calming seas Soothe me silent. My lips part To make waves violent. With lover's eyes, I see you. With all my will I try to subdue These desert airs And jagged rocks, My clumsy words Your smile mocks. Hold me close And I will flinch. Wandering hands: I jump an inch. Your waves are free In temptation, So that I cannot fill Your starvation. Beauty and words Coax my heart To bring me closer Within your art. Luscious words, Play of the wild, Remind me that in your eyes I am a child.
