Frosted Window PaneA Poem by N.SevillaFrozen fingers gently pressed against the window Nose cold from it’s touch Soft breath clouding the view Constant wiping to see through House lights on The only sign of life Outside A blanket of snow There is a girl She looks young, my age, But carries herself as someone older Glasses with thick black frames Dark ebony hair Newly dyed Slightly slanted eyes She’s mixed, I can tell Short, my height Glaring at the clouded sky With eyes just as dark I smile a toothy grin I’d like to meet this girl Beautiful with her furrowed brows And a glare that amuses me She feels my eyes Burning through the cold She is attracted to the heat Of my intense look The heat rising to a blush Only makes her notice more She c***s her head with a frown Her thoughts interrupted I glance away quickly She smiles And continues walking away There was a girl Behind the frosted window Disappearing My heavy breath makes her disappear Gone to find some greater warmth
