Hesitant Fears

Hesitant Fears

A Poem by N.Sevilla

If I could, I would, but I didn't; I haven't.

Perhaps I may, perhaps I shall, but I doubt it, I shouldn't.

Should I be able to, I may, I might, but wouldn't, I couldn't.

I won't, I shan't, for I am a coward

I like the pattern of this very much. It would have been a bit more smooth if you had kept the three comma pattern followed with the semi-colon, but your style works well for the flow as well and it's very expressive. The only thing I didn't like was the repetition of "I doubt it" when everything else is using a synonym of sorts. But all in all, I did enjoy this emotive poem. The wording and flow is very well done and it expresses much in so few words. Well done ^^ Truly enjoyable!
