Strength Of The BillowA Poem by N.RoseJ.Fighting against the 'sea of life'As we draw near life's sea of impending perils, We are ignorant of it's billows ahead. Before we can perceive what's transpired- We are propelled back upon the sand- Stung by the waves vigor. Our intellect is stunned and wounded; Transparently left in an abyss of affliction. Tears stream from reddened eyes, And grievous, we seek for discernment. The search proves futile, and yet, Elapsed time reconciles the past, And our indulgent nature pardons the sea- Now temperate. With ample assurance we rise again, Sure the next undulation will exhaust; However, with quiet anticipation, The billow rouses again, Ardent with stimulation. N.RoseJ. © 2013 N.RoseJ.Author's Note
