Silence permeates the downtrodden air
Hanging above mercurial oceans
Below the ashen skies

With all my might,
I will try
To turn this into paradise

But I cannot envision a way
Beyond what I know
So I will take a simple step forward
As above, so below

The washed out atmosphere of this world
Will know what it's like to be alive
And strive for a greater tomorrow
