Sun Fell DownA Poem by itsnotnaturalN/A
The sun, the sun, it fell down again
Get ready for everlasting night Purposeless were his warnings to the people Because he had always lied Faceless horrors from another place They will be coming very soon Now I must say that this sounds very outlandish Especially during this boon And even those people that believed his words Felt that they were well defended With their guns, grenades, and baseball bats They might as well just have pretended There isn't much to do now except sit down and wait And watch as they rush through the streets Assuming they were killing everyone while they're at it He was shocked when he heard the beat... Up, down, around he could hear the laughing shrieks And he was stunned when he saw them... Chorus They built a fire And danced around it And invited the humans to join All holding hands they watched it burn All while doing a jig They passed 'round the alcohol And told everyone their story He tried to make sense of it all Everyone was celebratory Everyone please just hear me out They're all just trying to trick you With their generosity and pleasantries Then some guy turned around and said "F**k you! None of us need your goddamn warnings So why don't you just go to hell?" "Your already here goddamn you! Don't tell me that you couldn't tell?" Up, down, around they looked in all directions He was shocked when they said "Party in hell!" Chorus Bridge The fires rose higher In this hellish empire As they all danced with glee Hypnotization Became mesmerization As he began to see The flames became less As the winds caressed him Slowly becoming relaxed Of the demons' appearance Disappearance of fear-enhanced Features had become fact Chorus © 2016 itsnotnatural |
