What would you see
If you were a tree
5000 years old
And so much left untold

Stories of countless empires rising
And falling
Of the sound of the earth
Breathing and changing as
If it were a living organism
Of the difference between 4840 years
And the last one hundred sixty
And the evolution of the human race
As a whole

If you were to ask me what
I have seen in the last 5000 years
I would tell you this and more
Much more

If you were a tree
Would you give your
