Factory

Factory

A Story by N.J.Hartman

The chocolate factory exploded. Streams of fire-cracker yellow and aluminum blue went shooting across the night, and descended into the steep fjord below. Fires hissed here and there in the blasted foundation of the building at the top of the mountain, and bespeckled the distance between the almost-peak of the ruined factory and harbor-village with the fire’s fading light as it vied with the dew and dampness of a gray morning.

Strong visuals, but just a mere nibble. That's okay. Nice job.
