LAST SOUTHERN SOLDIER

LAST SOUTHERN SOLDIER

A Story by NIKOS NASOPOULOS
"

short story about a Dixie soldier...

"
Many said they saw him like a shadow in Nashville roads or in Atlanta wearing the same light blue uniform and a hat.He was coming only at night.. They knew that maybe this was an illusion, something fake, but some said he was the last of general Lee soldiers walking the same paths, wearing the same clothes. For sure it was something supernatural... An old man gave him a name....was soldier Donovan and was said that if one saw him he would have a lucky life then... Was a myth or not Arthur,a pure boy, once saw him and many years later,a man then, became governor of Alabama...due to him...Donovan...the last soldier of South....
