The Crossroads of Life - A Sonnet

The Crossroads of Life - A Sonnet

A Poem by N.D. Reed

The whistling of the breeze,
And the autumn fall,
They signal the ease
Into the cold winter hall.

But we have not yet reached the chill,
Nor the tidings of frost.
The warmth has not yet filled its fill.
The sun will not be lost.

We won't forget the truth;
Our time to reflect
On the beauty of youth
And the joy it infects.

We stand now at a point we won't ever forget,
The start of a future of which we can whet.

My second sonnet. Probably not at all good XD but any feedback is still very much appreciated.
