Dear love

Ye can be as white and tranquil as a dove,

The darkest forest too scary to travel

or a beautiful scene to marvel.

Thou is as unique as a stone pebble

Sometimes ye is short lived liked a water bubble

And at times ye linger undamaged for thousand  years

And if destoyed you leave us in tears….

You are one but different

Each with its own scent.

Ye is found in a mother’s bright smile,

And her baby’s crackling chuckle .

In a father’s watery eyes,

Holding his child’s first salary.

In a grandparent, when they become one.

You are found in a teenager heart

Crushing on the girl next door,

Where the boy is too afraid

To reveal infront of her…..your name.

You are in the air,

Bathing two fervent lovers.

You presence is conspicuous

Between a newly wed couple

You bless them with a child

Taking after them.

You are in the angry hand of a teacher

Twister the ear of a student .

.

Although you have no dimensions

You can create a whole lot of emotions

The jealousy of a wife

The anger of a father

The greed of a politician

Our hatred on terrorists

The grief of a widow

Looking out of the window.

You bind all forms of life together

Ye make men of different faiths say “Brother!’’

Thou can create roses out of guns

All in all, for you the whole world runs…

Sans you we become savage

Lives ,properties, and hopes we blindly damage.

And for you my darling love,

This silly poem I dedicate.

Thanking you for your treasure trove,

Wishing that you never leave our planet .

Your’s forever

Swati Nayak

Swathi,

Love is eternal , it says. Any writer has his/her own ways always to represent it. We know that Kalidasa has squandered his poetic genius over the issue. Like him so many. As above it still retains space for the new to enter and script over. The dimensions are so freak as we know Himalayan masters clearly claim 9 dimensions instead our 3 . I find a a clear vision which is only required for an original work. However weak or strong. It carries the reader to his/her own realms. The writer has no role over it. Then it serves the purpose. Write honestly always like the above. It is the quality. When love bites over , Kalidasa says in Kumarasambavam, it will terrify the death itself. Only the lover has the capacity to withstand it in the multiverse.

excellent attempt indeed.....

carry on......
