Leap of Faith

Leap of Faith

A Poem by Mjr. Tom

I've tried to run, tried to flee

My feet are broken, cut too deep

I can't run anymore...

I have nothing, I am nothing (I am yours to keep)

I fall to my knees before you

Tears stream down blood-red cheeks

I tried to fight for you... (for you)

I suppose I'm weak (far too weak)

Take me home, I beg, then plea

For your touch, your embrace

Arms wide, me beneath

I can rest, I can breath

But your gone again... (not again)

This is the end (the end)

My beloved friend

An angel's message I will send

As I take this leap of faith

I whisper, I'll miss you

Until again... again we meet
