Left in DarknessA Poem by Mjr. TomA cruel tale of my last ex, girls don't like nice guys.We loved eachother for so long, Our was love was unbreakable, powerful and strong. I thought you were mine now and forever, This I know now was a pointless endeavor.
We held eachother during the bad, You gripped my hand when I was sad. We laughed and cried, never once did we lie, When you said goodbye, I began to die.
Your words were music to my ears, Your embrace destroyed all my petty fears. You promised! To never leave my side, Promised your hand! To be my lovely bride!
But your lust filled your being, You didn't know what you were seeing. You ran to that revolting beast, Your flesh and body his splendid feast.
Since then your soul is about gone, I'm still here... waiting for dawn. Now my reader, you heard my tale, If you're nice, your girl will bail. © 2009 Mjr. Tom |
