Tender Angel

Tender Angel

A Poem by Mjr. Tom

Your gentle voice,

Caress my deaf ears.

Your mere smile,

Wipe away all my fears.

Your slender frame,

Outshines all whom surround you.

Your a walking dream,

 Curly dark hair surround,

Your chocolate colored eyes,

The place where your soul is found.

Your soul is tender,

Like that of an angel's,

It can render,

All in your presence

With nothing but awe

I have one question.

Of which cloud did you fall?

Seems to me like the ever popular pick-up line, "Are you hurt? 'Cause you must've fallen from the heavens" has morphed into something beautiful and it's this poem. I like this a great deal, it combines two of my favorite ponderables love and angels.

Lovely read!

A good poem with shifting rhyme. "Your chocolate covered eyes" is something I've never heard before. I like it. Nice!
