Grey Skies

Grey Skies

A Poem by Mjr. Tom
"

One week the skies were grey everyday, and we talking about Thoreau and his ideas about not sleepwalking during life :)

"

I see grey skies

Every single day

Things never seem to change

When will the warmth return?

To this bleak, lifeless town

Fill these inhabitants with life

And fire, to fulfill their desires

Return all the pleasure to this wasteland

Push the clouds away!

Fill the sky with life and heat!

The warmth of the sun

To fulfill these people

Stop sleepwalking!

Wake up!

Feel life and pleasure!

Life and desire

Be aware of the warmth

Venture into the unknown

Find and fulfill your destiny...

Great! "Feel Life and Pleasure" that line really tells me to basically live life like its no tommorrow, impressive mind my friend. Keep it up.

This is really a great poem. I like the comparisons you made between the weather and the town and it's people. A very creative piece indeed. Good job Nick.
