The Big Race

The Big Race

A Poem by "...N8..."

The Big Race

Biking, Running, Swimming

Finally, a race for me

First, I shall be

Biking, Running, Swimming

Moving fast, the pedals a blur

Downhill is the only spur

Biking, Running, Swimming

The speed slows

The dirt and dust glows

Biking, Running, Swimming

Struggling for breath

Every third stalls death

Biking, Running, Swimming

Mine is the hand that touches last

Only to return another year, the lines are cast

Biking, Running, Swimming

ahh this is extremely unique...a poem about a triathalon! I havn't seen anything like it. being a cross country runner, I like this poem especially. the repetition was good and overall it sounded great. well done!
